Eating chili peppers can help dieters to lose weight by raising their metabolism and burning away fat, according to scientists. Researchers have found that the heat generated by peppers can actually increase your consumption of calories and “oxidize” layers of fat.

Ingredients

4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (1 lb)
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) Italian stewed tomatoes
1 can (15 ounces) chili with beans
4 slices cheddar or American cheese

Instructions

Procedures : Place chicken in an ungreased 11in x 7in x 2in baking dish. Top with tomatoes. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Spoon chili over each chicken breast; bake 10 minutes longer. Top with cheese; return to the oven 3-4 min or until cheese is melted. Yield 4 servings.
