Easy Trail Mix Recipe
It’s a great snack for kids or adults which can be modified to suit anyone’s taste. Use whatever combination of dried fruit and nuts your kids enjoy and you can even add some granola, yogurt raisins, pretzels, cereal or chocolate to the mix.
1/3 cup diced dried fruit, such as mango or apples
1/3 cup dried cherries or cranberries
1/3 cups dried blueberries
1/2 cup unsalted almonds
1/2 cup unsalted pistachios
1/2 cup chocolate covered raisins
Combine all the ingredients and store in an airtight container. Makes 2 1/2 cups.
